A B.Sc. I.T. graduate from the Mumbai University, half a decade of attempting to find meaning in the corporate world led me into the world of filmmaking in the year 2010. I started by assisting Director Kiran Rao at Aamir Khan Productions for almost two years while she worked on her maiden feature film, Dhobi Ghat. Thereafter I worked on tons of ad films and a handful of feature films as an Assistant Director, one of them being the National-Award and Golden Leopard winner at the Locarno International Film Festival - Thithi.

More than a decade after completing my graduation, I took a six-month sabbatical from my work assignments to enroll in the Mindscreen Film Institute in Chennai (founded by renowned Producer+Director+Cinematographer, Mr Rajeev Menon) to learn the art and craft of digital cinematography.

Along the way, I've written, directed, shot short format content for various clients and agencies and in some case even produced some for my own production house, Eager Beaver Productions. 

​

I've predominantly been working on short formats as a Director of Photography while on the longer formats I've been working as a Second Unit DP, First AC and additional camera operator.
